Double Warranties
That's right, we double all manufacturers' warranties. Simply put, if a product comes with a one year parts and labor warranty, we will double that so you get a two year parts and labor warranty. These days most products never fail. However, if by chance your product does fail, it would be nice to know that the cost of the repair will be covered by us. Some products come with as much as a two year "in home" warranty. With us, you would get four years warranty. Now that's service.
Free Setups for Life With Purchase of a Guitar
Whenever you purchase a guitar at KAOS Music, we will set that guitar up once a year for life, for free! What does a setup include? It differs from case to case, but usually a setup includes a full cleaning of the body, neck, fretboard, and electronics (if necessary), re-string, and any playing adjustments the guitar may need. Our regular price for a setup is $75, so that's a huge savings over the life of your guitar ... free setups are not transferable, original owner only.
Best Price Policy (new products only)
In today's competitive shopping world having a competitive price is not considered exceptional, it is expected. The Kaos Best Price Policy ensures that you are paying a competitive price on every product that we sell, every day of the year. If you find a lower price on an identical, in stock product at another authorized, Canadian dealer we will match that price and reward you with a bonus equal to 10% of the difference between our prices. This policy is in effect for 30 days from the date of your purchase. For internet, mail order or stores located outside of Toronto's immediate area, shipping costs and currency exchanges will be considered in the overall price to be matched. All prices will be confirmed before this policy will take effect. If we lower our price on a product that you purchased up to 30 days from the date of your purchase, we will be happy to give you a store credit for the difference in price.
Buy Back Policy (new products only)
Sometimes, a purchase just doesn't work out the way you planned. The problem with refund policies is that you almost always decide to return something after the return period has expired. The Kaos Buy Back Policy solves this problem. If you decide to return a product after the refund period has expired, you can, up to 6 months after your purchase. During your first 6 months we will buy your product back for what you paid (less all taxes and any freight charges) less a monthly service charge. The monthly service charge is 10% of the purchase price for products costing less then $1000 and 6% for products costing over $1000. A product which is worn beyond normal wear and tear will be subject to an additional charge. Software, books and consumables are not eligible for this policy. This policy only applies to the original purchaser of a product. The original bill of sale and photo ID must be presented in order to redeem this policy.
RETURN POLICIES (new products only)
All Products
Any new instrument that we sell may be returned for a full refund, store credit or exchange of equal or greater value up to 7 days from the purchase date. After 7 days and up to 30 days you may return an instrument for a store credit or exchange. Store credits can be used to make any new purchases in our store or online but those purchases are not eligible for any cash refund, credit or exchange only. Your instrument must be returned in its original condition with all of its original packaging. Any wear and tear will be assessed and a restocking charge may apply.
Software
Unopened software may be returned for full credit or exchange of equal or greater value up to 14 days from the date of purchase.
Books
All books by their nature can be copied. Therefore, we can not offer any refund, credit or exchange on books.
Used/Consignment Products
Used products (items owned by KAOS) may be returned for exchange or store credit within 7 days of purchase. There are no returns or exchanges permitted on consignment products, all sales are final.
Any return claim must be accompanied by the original bill of sale and photo ID. Any identified Special Order is not returnable or refundable.
